Tanjore Dolls — தஞ்சாவூர் தலையாட்டி பொம்மை

Tanjore Dolls, also called Thanjavur Thalaiyatti Bommai, are traditional handmade dolls from Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. They are famous for their distinctive shaking/bobbing movement, created by concentrating the weight toward the bottom so the doll naturally oscillates when moved.
